Steelcoat™ Soil Air Interface System
A combined tape and liquid coating system for protecting the vulnerable area where pipes emerge above ground from running underground in elevated temperatures.
The Steelcoat™ Soil Air Interface System is used to protect the section of pipe that rises from below to above ground in elevated temperatures. A section of at least 500 mm above and 500 mm below ground should be protected.
The system comprises a double layer of Premtape Hotline™ followed by a double layer of Premier™ Glass Outerwrap. A layer of Premier™ Clear Outerwrap is then applied to help the Premier Glass Outerwrap to cure. After removal of the Premier Clear Outerwrap, the system is completed by the application of Archco 65™ topcoat.
