Project Details
The firewater and cooling water pipelines at the newly constructed Hyosung Chemical Plant were protected with a colour-coded coating.
The sections of pipe were welded together at the site, leaving the weld joint in need of additional protection. Premcote™ Primer and Premcote 101™ Tape were utilised to protect these weld joints.
Minimum surface preparation of the weld joint is required. The fast-drying primer and hand applied-tape allow for ease of application even when access to the weld joint is limited.
